Its amazing how this warm weather makes you not want to do anything at all! I'm still off work with my depression, and i know my card making helps me to relax and focus my mind for a few hours, but i really haven't found the energy the past few days!
So its time to get my self motivated again, I'm going to have a day printing off items from my Cd's, a day stamping and colouring making toppers, then a day of decoupage and making toppers so then I'll have a big stash of items next to me so i can have a mega craft day to chill me out! So next time i blog I'm hoping to be able to show you all my new creations :)
How does everyone else craft? Do you all do the same, by making up and prepping lots of things so you can have a day where you really get stuff done? Or do you like to do a project from scratch every time?

My new hunkydory kits arrived!
My patchwork forest hunkydory kit arrived today so i had to have a play! I just made up the basic cards that came with card blanks, so I'll get into being more creative tomorrow with the toppers. I can never bring myself to cut up the fancy card blanks, even though i would probably be able to make more cards if i did. i think its good to have a few fancy cards tho :). I stuck them together using my faithful pinflair glue gel, and that's all i needed to add to the kit to make these cards, when will i ever learn though?!?! I get one hunkydory kit and ALWAYS with I'd brought 2...... LOL x

Cards made with Kanban items
All of these cards were made using kandi core toppers from kanban, matted and layered onto ripped black card, then on to ripped embossed mirri card. The background is black embossed card with gold papermania ink brushed over it and Kraft paper embossed with a matching colour to the topper on it. The embossing folder was a tim holz one. It gives a nice vintage look i think.
